Mini Brighton Haul

So I visited Brighton recently for an early birthday trip and as much as I loved going in and out of all the shops in the lanes I only managed to make purchases in the standard high street shops. I'm in one of those moods where I am trying to spend as little as possible and I feel all the quirky things in Brighton fall into the category of wanting not needing, and would therefore not be worthy to fall into my basket no matter how much I may have wanted them too.
I have been after a pair of Birkenstock's for so long now but was reluctant to pay full price so kept avoiding it. I found these black/ grey shimmery ones, amongst several others, in TK Maxx for only £24.99! I wish I had picked up a couple of other pairs as this price is a complete bargain. For those of you that don't know, these are hands down the comfiest shoes you will ever wear and although they may not look the most fashionable shoes, once you try them on you will not be able to put them back! There are so many different styles of Birkenstock and they're completely versatile through summer - if you have the chance to try them on you should definitely do it.
Second thing I picked up was this Pineapple candle by Botanica Naturale from Home Sense for £5.99. I have to admit I was completely sold by the packaging but luckily I adore the smell as well, I haven't lit it yet but I have high hopes that it will leave a sweet smell lingering - something I look for in a candle.
Lastly I picked up a Kiko Colour Sphere in number 33. This eye shadow actually looks a lot more of a purple/taupe tone in the case but as you can see once applied it's more of a brownish shade, nonetheless I still love the colour. I picked this up for £6.90, again another bargain, and it's so pigmented and perfect for a night out. I absolutely love the glittery undertones which even show up after application.
So today has been somewhat successful and I love love love each item, usually I buy things when I'm 50/50 and then make a decision once I'm home. I will definitely be returning to TK Maxx to search for other pairs of Birkenstocks because I have a feeling I will be living in these through summer.

Love Birkenstock's they are super comfortable and what a bargain! I haven't tried anything from Kiko but that eye shadow shade looks gorgeous.

I keep hearing so much about the makeup brand Kiko, and I have yet to try it! That shade looks lovely, and I love wearing purple it compliments green eyes so well. Your mini haul is full of so many great things!
